A seminar on Media Literacy was organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of St. Soldier College (Co-Education), Jalandhar. The seminar was held under the chairmanship of the college director, Dr. Veena Dada.
Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Assistant Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at GNDU University College, Jalandhar, was present as the keynote speaker. She explained the concept of media literacy to the students in a very effective manner. During the session, she discussed important topics such as fake news, misinformation, and disinformation.
On this occasion, Dr. Veena Dada and College Principal Dr. Manjit Kaur presented a memento to Dr. Nidhi Sharma and expressed their gratitude for her presence. Faculty members Ms. Harjeet Kaur and Sima Rani, along with all the students of the Journalism and Mass Communication department, were also present at the event.
